Personal Training



All Staff Members of the NOAA Fitness Center (NFC) are Nationally Certified Personal Trainers. The NFC offers Individual, Partner, and Group Personal Training. 

Personal Training is a great service to utilize for many reasons. Some utilize personal training in order to reach specific fitness goals such as weight loss, improvement in strength, muscle gain, or cardiovascular endurance. Others may utilize personal training as a committed, scheduled, and routine way to stay motivated. 

Whether you're looking to consistently work with a trainer or just need help getting started on your fitness goals, the NFC staff can help!

Meet the Trainers




Akua
ACSM Certified Personal Trainer

Akua is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and has been personal training for more than 8 years working with a very diverse population of clientele. Akua has worked with high risk, special population, low readiness, de-conditioned, as well as athletic and experienced clients. She embraces the challenge of working with clients with special needs, injuries, and limitations and strives to help each client reach their personal goals. Akua loves sports and enjoys working with clients to reach their particular athletic goals as well. Whether your goal is weight loss or to compete in your first triatholon, Akua's positive energy, encouragement, and exercise knowledge will help you get there!




Julie
AFAA Certified Personal Trainer

Julie is a Certified Personal Trainer with AFAA, the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. She is also certified in a variety of group exercise classes including indoor cycling, step aerobics, Pilates, Zumba, abs, back and core, and strength training. She has received training and certification with the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Julie loves working with clients to help them feel good and reach their fitness goals!




Jessica
NASM Certified Personal Trainer

Jessica is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a recent graduate of the University of Florida. She specializes in motivational techniques, functional movement, flexibility/stabilization, fat loss, strength training, and corrective exercise. Jessica is available Monday through Friday at the NFC.

Each client will still receive personalized training geared toward their individual goals.
